A lot of level 60s spend a lot of time in Kargath waiting for raids to start. What bothers me is that they just run around jumping each other on their mount or hopelessly dueling each other for ego boosts. What they should be doing is making gold quickly and easily! This can be done using the Uldaman instance which is located west of Kargath in two different ways.

The first way is to venture into the cave, or back entrance of Uldaman. I recommend skipping the Obsidian Sentinel in Uldaman as he doesn't drop much gold or loot and can be a somewhat long fight. Run north along the walls sneaking between the bats up to where Galgann Firehammer is hiding. You can get all the way to him without any aggro. Attack him and his two guards. It is very important you dps his guards first as they will do a lot of damage over the long fight. He will typically drop at least 1 blue which can be disenchanted for a large radiant shard which sells for 4g on the Auction House. This entire process can be repeated 5 times before you head out to your raid and earn you 20 gold very easily!

After this you can run across (green) to the front path and kill those bosses (see below) just as easily…

The second way is to venture into the front entrance of Uldaman, in northern badlands, and kill several bosses. Here you will encounter Ravelosh and Baelog. Baelog is with a few other mobs which all have a chance of dropping some blue loot. You can pocket the various shards and put them out on the Auction House for lots of gold!

Uldaman, like many other instances, is used to farm gold by higher levels. There are other named NPCs inside of Uldaman that could potentially have loot but to get to them in Uldaman easily is dependant on whether or not you have stealth or wish to spend a lot of time fighting NPCs in Uldaman to get there. You can figure out which Uldaman gold farming strategy works for yourself; this is just a basic idea of ways to make money in Uldaman.
